Ministry Ideaz has worked closely with Zayra and her extended family for the past 9 years. They are the main suppliers of many of the excellent products we provide.
This is a transcript of the interview that I had with her shortly after her baptism:
Greg: When did you first come in contact with Jehovah’s Witnesses?
Zayra: About 20 years ago I met some Witnesses that studied with my dad. One family was Allan Bermejo and his wife. I saw them come and go for the studies with my dad, and I also read a magazine once in awhile. But I never got interested. And I never talked to them or any of the other witnesses that visited. Later my father stopped his studies, and I completely lost contact. The only thing I knew was that my dad did a lot of work for a company called “Ministry Ideaz” and that they were Jehovah‘s Witnesses.
Greg: So what got you interested in the truth?
Zayra: In 2007 I started working with my father. Since he did so much work for “Ministry Ideaz,” that’s when I truly began to get to know the brothers and sisters. They were so nice.
Greg: So your work with “Ministry Ideaz” really had an impact on you?
Zayra: Yes! I liked them very much. They treated me so nicely and were so loving in spite of the fact that I wasn't a witness. Whenever they asked me if I was one of Jehovah’s Witnesses, I told them “No.” And they said: “Well then, we’re cousins.” And they’d encourage me to study the Bible.
Greg: How long ago did you become an unbaptized publisher?
Zayra: Seven months ago for myself, and five months ago for my boy.
“[Paul] planted, Apollos watered, but God [keeps] making it grow.” (1 Corinthians 3:6) We here at Ministry Ideaz know that Jehovah made those seeds of truth grow in Zayra and her son's hearts. But we’re especially happy to have been a part of the process of planting!
