Keep Your New World Translation Bible Pristine With a Zippered Cover

Has this ever happened to your bible?
Any book that is well loved shows wear, and that is especially true of your New World Translation Bible. As you work in field ministry to teach others the Truth, you open it often to share the scriptures. Avoiding accidental smudges from your pen or fingers can help keep the pages clean, a sign of respect for your beloved NWT Bible.

Making sure that your hands are spotless when you turn the pages makes a good impression on your listeners. The respect that you show for your NWT Bible is something that everyone you speak to in your field ministry is likely to remember. Proper preparation usually increases poise and confidence, which are essential in a presentation.

Memorizing Scriptures: Six Reasons Why It’s So Important

During the harsh communist regime of the 1950s in Eastern Europe, our brothers and sisters were under ban. Even possessing a Bible was illegal. Meetings were illegal. And, unbelievably, it was illegal for a parent to teach his own child in his own home about Jehovah and the Bible.
During the imprisonment our some of our brothers in Romania, even though they had no Bibles or publications, the brothers maintained their spiritual strength by recalling the things they had learned before their confinement and by sharing these things with one another. Every morning a brother would call to mind a Bible verse. The rest then repeated this text silently and meditated on it during the compulsory morning walk. Once they were all back in their cell they commented on that verse for about a half an hour. Among those 20 or so brothers, they were able to recall 1,600 Bible verses! Even one brother who at first felt that he was too old to memorize many Bible texts was able to recall and recite a large number of scriptures!

Maybe your jaw hangs open as mine does at how many scriptures those brothers knew. What captivated me, though, was something I had also found in memorizing Bible texts – when you know God’s Word by heart, it’s yours... always and forever. Not even the secret police can take it away from you.

How to Be a Good Parent: 4 Keys to Success

Scriptures on How to be a good parent“Daddy, how do you know so much?” Has your boy ever taken you by surprise with such a question? At the time, you probably felt proud of being a father. But if your son went a step further—if he applied your wise counsel and reaped the benefit—your heart no doubt glowed with even greater joy.

Being a good parent is challenging. At the same time can be the most rewarding venture we will ever undertake. The Bible has lots to say about the way we can successfully raise our children in the “discipline and admonition of Jehovah” (Ephesians 6:4). As a good father or mother, the first thing we must do is teach them the truth from God's Word the Bible.

What does the Bible say about being a good parent?
