A little package can travel a long way before it reaches a Canadian doorstep. If you’ve ever found just the right notebook, book cover, or gift, then hesitated at the cost of international shipping, we understand. We want ordering from Ministry Ideaz to feel practical for your budget, too.
Our Canadian Standard Shipping option brings orders together for the international trip from Ecuador to Toronto. Sharing that part of the shipping cost helps us keep delivery affordable, while each customer still receives their own individually packed order.
Standard Shipping is US$4.99 for qualifying orders below US$49, or FREE on qualifying orders of US$49 or more. Most Canadian Standard Shipping orders arrive in about two weeks.
All amounts shown here are in U.S. dollars. Check the shipping options at checkout for your order’s eligibility and final rate.
It Starts With Our Team in Ecuador
Ministry Ideaz has deep roots in Ecuador. Our workshop and fulfillment team in Ecuador prepare the products and pack orders for customers around the world—including Canada.
We’re a small, family-run business with ties to both countries. Many of our Canadian customers have supported us for years, and we know that the cost of getting a parcel across borders matters. Keeping that cost manageable makes it easier to choose something useful for meetings, the ministry, or a thoughtful gift.
Sharing the Trip, Sharing the Savings
Sending every small parcel separately by international courier can be expensive. With Standard Shipping, we gather Canadian orders into a larger shipment for the international leg to Toronto.
Think of it as carpooling for parcels. Your order has its own packaging and destination, but it shares the long-distance trip with other Canadian orders. Combining those shipments helps spread the international transport cost across more packages.
Your parcel has company for the long trip—and you benefit from the shared shipping cost.
- Ecuador: Our team prepares and packs your order.
- Toronto: Canadian orders arrive together in a consolidated shipment and are handed over for individual delivery.
- Your Canadian address: Purolator handles the final delivery of your parcel.
How the Timing Works
Canadian consolidated shipments generally leave our Ecuador facility about once a week. A packed order may therefore wait several days for the next departure. That waiting time is already included in our usual delivery estimate. Occasionally, a shipment may take closer to three weeks, but that is the exception.
This is the trade-off that makes the lower shipping price possible: grouping parcels takes a little coordination, but it saves each order from carrying the cost of a separate international courier trip.
Your parcel won’t be stopping for a double-double in Toronto—but it will be changing hands. That handoff is part of how we keep the shipping bill easier to swallow. A little more room in the budget for your own coffee, eh?
What If Tracking Looks Quiet?
A tracking number can be created before your parcel reaches the Canadian carrier. During the international stage, you may see little movement for a week or more. Updates begin once the shipment arrives and your individual package enters the local delivery network.
The Canadian carrier may simply be waiting for the international handoff. If your order goes beyond its expected delivery window, please contact us with your order number so we can check it for you.
Need Your Order Sooner?
For a gift with a deadline or supplies needed for an upcoming assembly, FedEx Expedited remains available separately at checkout. It costs more, but gives you a faster option when timing matters.
Standard Shipping is a useful choice when you can plan ahead. Delivery estimates are approximate, and product availability, customs processing, or carrier delays can affect arrival. Leave a little breathing room before a special occasion.
A Little Planning Can Go a Long Way
If you’re already choosing a few things for your family, placing them in one order may help you reach the free-shipping threshold. A notebook for yourself, something for the children, and a card for a friend can be a more practical combination than several separate small orders.
Thank you for supporting our family business and the team in Ecuador. We hope these shipping options make it easier to enjoy the supplies you love, with more of your budget going toward the things you chose.
